Our History

Welcome to the history of Mt Adams Country Club, a place that has been serving the Yakima Valley for almost 100 years! Let's take a trip down memory lane and learn about the evolution of the club.

Mt Adams Country Club was established in 1923, originally as a cow pasture, and over the years, it transformed into a golf course. The club has always been committed to providing top-quality facilities and services to its members.

On April 7, 1952, Mt Adams Country Club seeded its first grass green. This event was significant because it marked a new era in the history of the club. The greens were so impressive that Governor Langlie of Olympia visited the course and complimented the club by saying that these were the best greens he had ever played on. In 1995, the club house was constructed, providing a comfortable space for members to gather, relax, and socialize. The construction was completed in the following year, and it quickly became a focal point of the club's activities.

Today, the club continues to progress and thrive. Men's Day is held every Thursday, while Ladies Day is every Wednesday, providing opportunities for members to socialize, compete, and have fun. The club also hosts tournaments every month, giving members a chance to test their skills and compete against one another.

As the club approaches its centennial celebration, Mt Adams Country Club is committed to continuing to provide exceptional service to its members while maintaining the traditions and values that have made it a special place for almost a century. We look forward to many more years of creating memories and bringing people together.
